It’s been another incredibly busy year for our Buying Team, who’ve munched, sipped and sampled their way through 1,000s of new products, with over 3,200 new products launched during 2017. As shelf space is limited, it can be difficult knowing which new products to focus on, so our Buying Team have picked out some of their most successful new product launches for this year and their top tips for products to look out for in 2018.

Already proving to be a success is Tree of Life Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with the ’mother’ which was launched in October. Predicting what’s set to be the top trend or latest new product for next year can be tricky, but one trend that is guaranteed to see a continued increase in popularity and further new product innovation is the functional food and drink category. Focusing on superfoods, Active Edge have just launched Pomegranate Active, which is an 100% pomegranate juice concentrate, that can be added to water, natural yogurt or smoothies to reap the amazing benefits of this jewel like fruit.

Sticking with superfoods but with an added twist, is Bumblezest’s new range of functional drinks, including a Ginger, Turmeric and Collagen variety which can be taken as a shot or diluted with water.
