What's Hot...  Inspired by Africa

Taking our cue from this month’s Fairtrade Fortnight, which for 2019 is focusing on cocoa farmers, particularly in West Africa, our inspiration for this month’s What’s Hot is Africa: the people, the recipes and some of the amazing ingredients that are grown there.

Our starting point is of course Divine Chocolate, the only chocolate company in the world which is 100% Fairtrade and owned by Kuapa Kokoo, a farmers’ co-op, based in Ghana. Staying with Ghana is Red Red meal pots with recipes created in collaboration with Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen, mixing up the energy of Africa with vegan vibes. We’re also taking inspiration from Aduna an African-inspired health food brand and social enterprise that are bringing the natural vitality of Africa’s ancient super-ingredients, such as baobab and moringa to our shelves.
